My Story

Writing found me in the midst of chaos. During some of my darkest moments, I picked up a pen and began to write. What started as a way to cope with overwhelming emotions soon became a lifeline—a way to process pain, find clarity, and rediscover hope. Writing became my therapy, and my way of making sense of a world that often felt too heavy to carry.

Through poetry, I found a voice for the emotions I couldn’t articulate out loud. My poems are raw, honest, and deeply personal, reflecting my journey of healing and self-discovery. My children’s book, born from love and resilience, was a gift for my grandson—a story to remind him of my love, even if I couldn’t be there to watch him grow. Writing it was an act of hope, a way to leave a piece of myself behind.

Today, I write not just for myself, but for others who may find comfort or connection in my words. My story is still unfolding, and with every poem and story, I’m reminded of the power of words to heal, uplift, and bring us closer together.
